This organic premium Rwandan Black Tea (OP) tea has a dark and slightly twisted appearance. However the color can vary from dark brown to black, and the leaves are often long and wiry, showcasing their high-grade quality
Rwandan Black Tea (OP) is a high-quality black tea known for its rich flavor and distinctive characteristics. "OP" stands for "Orange Pekoe," because it refers to the tea leaf grade
This indicates that it consists of whole, large tea leaves with minimal breakage.
In the cup it appears golden and coppery and deep aromatic aroma.
The scent is typically malty, with subtle notes of fruitiness offering a hint of floral sweetness. On the palate it is medium strength with good body and most importantly without excessive tannins.
Being a black tea, this organic premium Rwandan Black Tea (OP) contains a moderate amount of caffeine therefore making it a suitable choice for a morning pick-me-up or an afternoon energizer.

Brewing Advice;
- Use 1 - 2 teaspoons of tea per person
- Steep for 1 - 2 minutes
- Water temperature 90 degrees C
- Store in a cool dry place, out of light
